The Features of CTU Development
Based upon the solid foundation of outstanding academic achievements and management through years’ efforts by our past and current presidents, teachers and staff, the strategy of our future development is to reflect the advancement of modern technology, the demand for humanity and life and various constant changing factors of the teaching environment. Listed below are the key components of our future development：
1.To implement the spirit of technical and vocational education and develop its features.
2.To achieve higher teaching quality and promote holistic education
3.To set up the campus to become a pleasant environment for teaching, conducting research, working, learning and living as well as becoming an uplifting force for the advancement of community’s culture.
4.To raise the prestige of the school so that it becomes the breeding ground for cultivating technical professionals and innovation in Central Taiwan.
We grasp the pulse of the times, propose a forward-thinking and feasible school development plan, compete for resources and support for all, implement resources in integration for all academic departments, explore research depth and breadth, lead group research, step by step, achieve outstanding excellence in practice and strive for steady progress and development.
Encourage active interaction between teachers and students. In particular, based on the excellent records of in-time delivery of many industry-sponsored projects in the past, we need to sustain the hard-earning fame in the Central Taiwan and continue to maintain the current cooperation between industry and school to conceive ideas for new products and provide good service. We also have established the “Center for Research and Innovation” to help promote industrial competiveness. Through improving the service quality, we will strengthen industrial interaction for the future to come.
6.To institutionalize the distribution of personnel time along with fund allocations and improve administrative efficiency.
Our employment is based on merits, and thus the appropriate human resources are allocated. Our funds are distributed efficiently for reasonable uses. Policies regarding personnel and the funding usage process are institutionalized and publicized. Simplifying all processes saves on human resources and improves efficiency.
7.To strengthen alumni-ties
Academic institutions around the world prioritize strengthening ties with their alumni organizations. Successful alumni reflect on successful schools. Concurrently, strong alumni support and abundant donations form a major driving force for school development and advancement. We will continually strengthen ties between our alumni with care and hold regular alumni events.
